Luxury Bed and Breakfast in Gerona
This luxury bed and breakfast villa in Spain is located on the Gavarres hill-side with stunning panoramic views overlooking Palamos Bay and the surrounding countryside. There is a private swimming pool and jacuzzi to relax in, as well as personal sun beds. House guests are limited to just six, so the house and facilities are always peaceful.
All rooms are tastefully decorated, have quality fitments, including air-conditioning or ceiling fans. In winter months there is central heating and a welcoming log fire in the lounge. Breakfast can be full English or continental as preferred. Daytime snacks are available as well as a wide range of wines, beers and soft drinks from the honesty bar. Evening meals can be provided on request and normally comprise 3 courses and a selection of wines.
The Aiqua Blava, a deluxe double/twin en-suite bedroom is air conditioned. It has its own external entrance and patio doors leading to the Jacuzzi terrace, where there are teak sun beds, tables and chairs.The Tamariu is a well appointed double/twin room that overlooks the mountains as well as the sea and has a ceiling fan.The Llafranc room is a Double room with luxury en suite facilities and fantastic views of Palamos bay.
Guest rooms are superbly appointed with Hairdryers, Satellite TV showing BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc and use of a computer with Broadband Internet access and Telephone availability, which is billed at low cost.
About Your Hosts
Trevor and Joan have previous multi national management, training and consultancy experience. Once hoteliers in Newbury, they now enjoy the wonderful surroundings that Casa Nickel has to offer. Their interests include: Golf, travel, scuba diving, boating and socialising.
Out and About
Casa Nickel is on the Costa Brava and is perfectly located for beautiful sandy beaches and all year round scenic walks. Itineraries can be provided that show paths which are signposted and therefore easy to follow without getting lost. A warm Mediterranean climate of Catalunya, along with its historic towns, gastronomic delights and rich cultural heritage makes Catalonia a perfect holiday choice. The Costa Brava has 9 major courses and 14 pitch and put courses. There´s an 18 hole par 72 within 15 minutes of the villa. Other activities include quad safaris, museums, markets, water parks and theme parks. Casa Nickel has it´s own outdoor table tennis table with bats and balls provided. All challengers are welcome! Weekly poolside barbeque hosted by Joan and Trevor can be provided at guests request at a nominal cost.
